The Spirit of Bermuda is a 118-foot, 19th-century inspired tall ship schooner home ported in Hamilton, Bermuda. Built in 2006, the vessel was designed specifically for sail training and youth education through the Bermuda Sloop Foundation. Modeled after traditional civilian Bermudian-type schooners, the ship features a 23-foot, 4-inch beam and a 9-foot, 6-inch draft. Today, the Spirit of Bermuda continues to provide educational and leadership experiences for Bermuda’s youth while preserving the island’s rich maritime heritage.
