Experience the Majesty of the Tall Ships

The Meet Boston Parade of Sail will highlight the day’s activities. Led by the USCGC Eagle, “America’s Tall Ship,” vessels will parade in flotillas from Broad Sound into the main channel of Boston Harbor, along the Boston waterfront, turning at Charlestown, before proceeding to their assigned berthing areas.

Parade Route and Viewing Areas

Public viewing will be spectacular from Castle Island, the Seaport District, the Boston Waterfront, East Boston, the North End and Charlestown.

Prohibited Items

Due to federal, state, and city public safety plans, there are a number of items that are strictly prohibited. Prohibited items will be enforced during Parade of Sail as well as on the piers during the week of Sail Boston.

Spectator Anchorages

You are welcome to watch the Parade of Sail from your recreational boat, but there are restrictions in place which must be followed. Regulated anchorage areas will help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Spectator Vessel Movement

After the completion of the Parade of Sail, boats traveling in the Inner Harbor must follow the Spectator Vessel Movement route. This traffic pattern will be in effect through Wednesday, July 15.
