The Juan Bautista Cambiaso is a three-masted barquentine training vessel operated by the Dominican Navy and home-ported in Santo Domingo. Built in 2009 with a steel hull, the ship measures 178 feet 6 inches in length, with a beam of 26 feet 11 inches and a draft of 13 feet 9 inches. Designed as a modern sail training vessel, it is equipped with contemporary navigation, communication, and safety systems to support the instruction and development of Dominican naval cadets while also representing the Dominican Republic in international maritime events.
